o Perform conceptual and detailed HV and MV Substation Physical/Electrical design for utilities/substations (including basic layout, electrical arrangement, one line, three line drawings, plan-section, grounding, AC and DC system drawings)o Perform engineering studies and calculationso Perform Quality Control reviews on smaller substation physical design projectso Assume the role of technical lead on smaller projects with limited guidance or on medium sized projects with guidance.
o Create and review bill of materials for substation physical projectso Develop and review proposals, and scopes of work for smaller substation physical projectso Be involved in limited client interaction (including site visits) with a senior, project or lead project engineero Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with the internal teams and clients to meet project objectiveso Develop leadership skills in preparation for future roles on the teamWhat you will bring to the table:
o 4
years of Substation physical design experience.
o Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, civil or related degreeo Experience with grounding studies/lightning protection and lighting studies.
It would be nice if you had:
o Registered Professional Engineer ( P.
E) licenseo Master's degree in related fieldo Working knowledge of protection and control designo Experience with bus calculationo Experience with WinIGS or CDEGSIn this role, you can expect to grow:

PDSSUBSTATIONPowerDeliveryPay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.
00 - $120,000.
00 - $162,000.
00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
