Vehicle Description 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle, Has a new Motor, 1600 4 Cylinder Engine, Rare Automatic Transmission, Newly Restored with a Nice Cosmetic Restoration with new Ontario Blue Paint and Nice New Cream Color Interior with Bucket Seats.

Manufactured by the German company Volkswagen(VW) from 1938 until 2003 then produced again later.
The notion of a people's car - a car affordable and practical enough for common people to own.
24 Hence the name, which is literally people's car in German, pronounced 'f?lks?va?gn? Is a rear-engine design with a two-door body-style.

Bela Barenyi is credited with the original basic design for this car in 1925, notably by Mercedes-Benz, with his original technical drawing as proof five years before Porsche claimed to have done the initial version.
The Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single platform ever made.
The Beetle was equipped with the 1600 four-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generated 58 horsepower, as well as with a dual braking system, four-wheel independent suspension, and a flow-through ventilation system.
Additionally the Beetle had seat belts for the driver and passengers, two-speed windshield wipers using a pneumatic washer system, swiveling sun visors, coat hooks, assist straps, folding rear seats, and luggage space under the front hood, plus a three-foot carpeted compartment behind the rear seats.
The Beetle's engine, transmission, and cylinder heads were constructed of light alloy.
An engine oil cooler (located in the engine fan's shroud) creates optimal engine temperature and extends engine life.
Recently new or rebuilt carburetor, New super coil, full tune-up including points, rotor, cap, HD plug wires and spark plugs.
This car features an automatic choke.
After 1960, steering featured a hydraulic damper that absorbed steering irregularities.
Despite the car's utilitarian design, the interior featured painted metal surfaces, a metal dash consolidating instruments in a single, circular binnacle, adjustable front seats, a fold-down rear seat, optional swing-out rear windows, front windows with pivoting vent windows, heating via air-to-air exchange manifolds operating off the engine's heat, and a windshield washer system that eschewed the complexity and cost of an additional electric pump and instead received its pressurization from the car's spare tire (located in the front luggage compartment) which was accordingly overinflated to accommodate the washer function.

Speakers in doors and larger speakers in the back compartment.
( Needs a speaker box, or I would do 2 separate boxes to save space, on the flip side 1 box is going to create a deeper sound).

VDO large combination Speedometer and Gas Gauges.
Modern lighted toggle switches control various functions.
